Some things could use a spruce up. The gate is tricky to close, and the room furnishings-like curtains and bed sheets-are showing their age. The occasional wildlife guest can be a surprise, with little critters from the outdoor bathrooms popping up, and during rainy spells, the bathroom roof leaks. There's also a notable lack of preparation for the hot water, which can leave you shivering while waiting for a stream of warmth.

We were given a villa on arrival, it was huge. The hotel had a central location close to many restaurants and bars. Besides, it was adjacent to the Monkey forest.

private pool, outdoor area, proximity to monkey forest
Gaps in the room structure led to wildlife intrusions!!! A poorly maintained path to Ubud now flooded with scooters creates safety concerns at night!!! The gate to the hotel needs significant improvement to function properly!!!

The stay was absolutely really nice. That was quiet and stunningly beautiful hotel set in really cool area, just off the center through a path right next to the monkey forest which is very nice and easy, and the Ubud palace and lively market. The breakfast was delicious, had a wide array of options and the food was superb! Booked a room with ac. Affable staff and the location was great and pleasant. Plus it was max 10 mins walk to the lake.
Unfortunately Wi-Fi was terrible.

We enjoyed our stay with a private pool and comfortable beds. The breakfast options were varied and delicious. We found that the hot water system couldn't keep up for a full shower, and there were quite a few bugs in the room. It was a relaxing experience with friendly staff.

Charming Stay with a Touch of Wilderness
I loved swimming daily in the inviting private pool. The villa's location near the monkey forest offered good monkey sightings! The staff was friendly, and the local Indonesian cuisine was delicious. Just be ready for the occasional insect and keep doors shut to prevent monkey antics!

The room was spacious and super comfy with a big bed. I loved the outdoor shower, and the hot water was reliable, always a plus. The place felt private, and I could see monkeys swinging from the trees while lounging by our private pool. Just beware of a few bugs sneaking in, but that wasn't too bothersome. A really cozy vibe!

This place was just an excellent fit for a couple of nights in Ubud with very nice value for money. The private pool was lovely, allowing me to swim every day under the Bali sun. Make sure to keep the doors closed to avoid visits from cheeky monkeys looking for snacks.
